Akiko Sato

Drawing Exhibition

Museum of Arts and Crafts Permanent Exhibition, 2018.

Visual identity and accompanying materials for the exhibition of artist Akiko Sato at the Museum of Arts and Crafts in Zagreb.

A complete exhibition identity was developed, including the graphic concept, promotional materials, and visual communication. The design approach aimed to establish a minimal intervention in the artist’s expression, emphasizing the calmness and introspective qualities of her work.

With their floating positions in the museum space, drawings form their own line of scattered "scene events" humorously incorporated in the remarkable scenery of the Permanent Exhibition.

In her practice, Akiko Sato explores figurative motifs — human and animal forms that become symbolic carriers of emotion and meaning.
